Constance Lemuria Awarded Two Michelin Keys

Constance Lemuria has been awarded Two Michelin Keys in the Michelin Guide’s hotel selection, recognising an exceptional hospitality experience shaped by its remarkable natural setting, distinctive architecture and the people who bring its spirit to life.

While the Michelin Guide has long been an international reference for culinary excellence, its hotel selection extends this recognition to exceptional places to stay. The Michelin Keys highlight hotels that offer memorable experiences, assessed against five criteria: excellence in architecture and interior design; individuality and authenticity; quality and consistency of service, comfort and maintenance; the hotel’s contribution to its destination; and the experience it delivers for its price.

For Constance Lemuria, this recognition is both a milestone and an encouragement to keep moving forward.

The Lemuria experience: a place with its own soul
Ask what makes Constance Lemuria unique, and the answer goes beyond its spectacular natural surroundings.

For Bruno Le Gac, General Manager of the leading hotel, it is the way the hotel’s architecture integrates with the landscape, the quality and variety of its food and wine, and, most importantly, its soul.

“There is a ‘Lemuria way’ of doing things which is different from anywhere else, and guests can feel this the minute they arrive at the hotel,” he explains.

That individuality comes from the relationship between the setting, the experience and the people who shape each stay. It is a sense of place that cannot simply be designed or replicated; it grows through the character of the hotel and the passion of its team.

People at the heart of recognition
Behind every memorable stay is a team whose dedication turns a beautiful setting into a meaningful experience. At Constance Lemuria, the contribution of its people is central to this achievement.

“In these days of AI and robotics: we are very human!” says the General Manager, highlighting the importance of genuine human connection in hospitality.

It is this personal touch, expressed through thoughtful service and a shared understanding of the Lemuria spirit, that gives the experience its distinctive character.

A milestone for Constance Lemuria and the Seychelles
Describing the recognition in three words: pride, recognition and visibility, the General Manager also emphasises the wider significance of the achievement.

The Michelin Guide’s credibility makes its hotel distinctions particularly meaningful, bringing international attention to properties that offer something exceptional. For Constance Lemuria, the Two Michelin Keys are an important milestone, while also contributing to the visibility of the Seychelles as a destination for remarkable hospitality.

With only ten Michelin Guide-selected hotels in the Indian Ocean at the time of this recognition, and three located in the Seychelles, the achievement places the destination firmly in the spotlight.

Yet the recognition is not a reason to stand still. It is a source of renewed energy to keep progressing, challenge established expectations and evolve with a changing world.

For Constance Lemuria, the Two Michelin Keys celebrate what makes the hotel special today while inspiring what comes next: an experience rooted in nature, shaped by people and defined by its own unmistakable spirit.
